In its 50 year history Warilla Baptist Preschool has had some notable achievements. Most recently, we have successfully extended and expanded our preschool building and playground area to double in size. Find other achievements we are immensely proud of below.

• A few years ago we celebrating 50 years of caring for children in our community
• We completed the Growing Minds Greening Communities 2 year program on sustainable living with children through Shellharbour Council
• We were successful in a grant application to install a banana farm at preschool. (What’s a banana farm we hear you ask? A group of banana trees planted near compost bins to help compost organic matter extremely quickly)
• We have fully renovated our upstairs floor to include a staffroom and second children’s playroom for preschool
• We were successful in a grant application to renovate the bottom playground of preschool
• We were successful in a grant application to add shade structures over our art space
• We are working towards our Little Scientists badge
• We have an annual Art Exhibition held at the Shellharbour Council building, it is attended by over 300 visitors each year and open to the public
• Our children are the opening performance (and best!) at Carols by the Harbour each year
• We have been rated Exceeding National Quality Standards
• We are one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable preschools in NSW
