We consider outdoor play essential to early childhood development, and have one teacher dedicated to programming, development of resources and improving our outdoor space. Melanie our outdoor teacher organises our outdoor program and ensures it is full of discovery, exploration, learning and fun experiences for the children. In summer we have a focus on growing summer fruits, sustainable water play, arts and crafts and enjoying the wonder of nature. In winter, we plant our vegetables, use bikes and other gross motor resources and enjoy the play spaces on the deck.

The indoors are valuable for play at preschool too. The children spend the middle of the day inside and have a large space for play and exploration. With two room, each having, craft, building, fine motor, stem, imaginative play, language and literacy, cognitive games and more, the children have a wide variety to enjoy.
